The GP Hubs are in place to see minor injury and illness presentations and our appointments are bookable via NHS111. We also accept walk-in patients with urgent need. Your daughter attended the GP Hub on a busy Saturday afternoon, when our clinicians were already busy with other patients, hence the short wait that you detail. I am sorry that you felt that the Reception staff were unhelpful, and that the above reasoning was not conveyed to you. Regards, Lynne Hughes, Service Manager

  2. Review titled Rushed appointment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Fahmina Choudhury - Posted on 15 July 2024

Hi, I called 111 and got an appointment for my 8 month old who was not eating much or drinking I assumed it was teething and now tonsillitis to which the Dr did a quick check up and said just slight redness missing the huge white blister on my babies gum. I asked what I can give to now having to turn to my reliable gp we have found out she has a very bacterial ulcer on her top gum. The appt was rushed and no conclusion was given. Very disappointed in my baby’s service yesterday. I had the receptionist call me trying to rush me with the baby to come in now when I explained that’s impossible as im a mother of 4 once I settle my other three with my husband and change my baby’s nappy I can come at the appointment time given. It was very rushed and I wasn’t content at heart so called my gp today for a second opinion. As a nurse myself it’s important to give 100% care and not rush when providing care especially for children at that a baby.

  3. Review titled Missing notes

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Mohammmed Kazim Syed - Posted on 21 December 2023

I visited Parkway GP with my son on Sunday, 17th December 2023. The GP was very helpful and clear in explaining me why my son was showing signs of allergy on his face. I was asked to get his allergy test done by contacting my practice at East Croydon. Upon contacting my East Croydon practice centre, they could not locate any notes in the system mentioning my visit to Parkway GP. I believe the notes in the system are not reflecting which has caused my son’s subsequent appointment and allergy tests to be delayed. Please look into the matter to understand and explain me why the notes by the Parkway GP are not reflecting in the NHS system. Regards, Kazim

Many thanks for reaching out to us, I have investigated your concern and can confirm that there was on this occasion a small error which had prevented sharing of your son's consultation notes. I have now rectified this and have liaised with your GP surgery to confirm details, and understand that a follow-up appointment has been made. Please accept my apology for the inconvenience caused, very best wishes to your son and yourself. Kind regards, Lynne Hughes, service Manager
