I really needed to see a GP and had struggled to find an appointment. I was so relieved when the hub could help and the GP that saw me was fantastic - very thorough, reassuring, empathetic and professional. A credit to the profession. Thank you

I'm convinced the GP is like a fairy godmother - she was just incredible. We'd been struggling with my asthmatic daughter for 6 weeks, but felt bad taking up an appointment as we know you're under so much pressure right now. Her asthma nurse recommended we call 111 to get an appointment as we were staying with family, and it took 23 hrs for them to call us back for the 1hr callback, so I was already knowing there was so much pressure and she may not be seen. However we were given an appointment straight away at the Purley hub and the GP was the most caring healthcare professional I have ever come across. My daughter is quite an excitable child, so sometimes it's hard to tell how poorly she is if you don't know her; but the gp checked her over so thoroughly and professionally, before then calling every pharmacy in the area to find the right medication. My mum happened to be in Tesco so the GP went above and beyond by speaking directly via my mums phone to the Tesco pharmacist to find an alternative suitable medication, and ensured they had received the electronic prescription to get my daughter the correct medication. To feel listened to and respected as a mum is sometimes rare, but she really did thoroughly check over my daughter and listen to my concerns to keep sure she can not only get the right treatment but also avoid her being admitted to hospital before Christmas. Thank you, we need more people like this in this world.

As a expert by experience - and a natural medicine advocate - I was blessed to been attended to by a similar minded professional. The lady examined me, listened patiently, and recommended an over the counter remedy - putting my mind at ease. I applaud the professional for her warmth, genuine care and expertise. In these days of post-covid, so many health care professionals are impolite to members of the public - today - all of the professionals from the 111 service, including the assistants and the Consultant were first class - I cannot rate them highly enough. Thank you all - it was a blessing to connected with you all. Your down to earth advice and respect was appreciated. Wishing you all Yahweh's blessing from a local Poet/Bookwriter.
