I have been with Grove Park Surgery for the last 11 years. It used to be good. I filled out klinik form on Monday 22nd July, did not hear anything I had to follow up by calling (this is not first time this has happened) was told that Dr will call next day. I did not receive a call from doctor, infact a receptionist called and gave me appointment for Saturday that too not with my surgery but at Holly Road with some other doctor. I had an appointment for one issue but then there was a more urgent issue that happened on Saturday morning so I had to discuss that with doctor. The doctor on duty was almost a 70 years old doctor who was really rude and seems least interested in what he was doing as he said he was working for 50 years now. I had to discuss the issue and then when I wanted clarification on what to do he was not patient at all and rudely said I am repeating myself second time and when it was not clear I asked, he very rudely said I am repeating myself 3rd time. I found him really impatient and rude with patient. We have to remember whoever goes to see a doctor are there because they have some health issues and the doctors should be polite, empathetic and good listener, not rude to patients who already are not happy with one thing or another about their health. I would recommend that klinik form is filled for a reason and it should be acted on - not the other way around that the patient is the one following it up making several calls to get seen.
