Great bedside manner. Not much clarity on wait times, but generally fairly efficient. Advice would be get there early for walk ins!

Review titled Swift and professional experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Joined queue @ 07:40. When doors opened @ 08:00 we were given a numbered registration form (mine was 8). After filling out form with contact information, symptoms etc we were called to reception based on form number (so no concerns about missing place in queue) where we were registered on the new computer system. I was then offered an appointment @ 08:30. Was then seen on time by doctor who completed tests and prescribed medication meaning I left the clinic by 09:00. So overall a positive experience. The receptionist was friendly and the doctor very approachable, thorough and informative.

Review titled Zero dignity and zero privacy

Everyone pulled out of the queue to describe their symptoms in full ear shot of everyone in the queue. I heard everyone’s concerns despite trying not to listen. This place is an embarrassment.

Review titled Excellent practice

I had 2 appointments in the last two weeks. On both occasions I have met different staff members and all of them were highly professional, helpful and discreet. To get an appointment I have queued up in the morning at opening hours and I got an appointment for the afternoon that suited me and I didn't have to miss work. The receptionists were attentive and it was great that I didn't have to discuss the problem out loud and they could offer me an appointment by reading the problem off the form that I have filled out. The staff worked in the early hours on the 20th and 27th Feb were just excellent and deserve some kudos. On my first visit I was seen by female clinician. She was wonderful, listened to my issues and had a blood test and an examination. Again, excellent member of staff and very helpful. On my second visit I was seen by a gentleman. He was absolutely lovely, helpful and understanding. He made me feel at ease. I was also seen by a senior member of staff. Throughout my visit I felt safe, understood and cared for. I don't think that these clinicians and staff get enough recognition, so I just want to express my gratitude in a form of a positive feedback. This clinic is very important and these people make it an outstanding establishment. I would love to give a special shout-out to the clinicians by name, please contact me via email so I can provide their names as I understand this is not possible via this platform. Thank you

Review titled Woefully inefficient reception

-Nowhere does it say you have to fill in a form before you get to the reception desk until you've made it to the front of the line and they tell you to go and fill in the form. So I lost my place in the queue to 4 other people going in front of me after I'd already been queuing for 25mins. Hardly my fault and not "first come, first served" either. I then had to wait another 40mins - all to be told the next appointment was 2.5 hours later. -The website boasts you can be seen "anonymously", yet you have to provide a home address on the form for the reception team to even process you. So it's not anonymous at all. -One desk (manned by the only person who seemed to know what they were doing) said "appointments only"on the front but when I requested an appointment for another day from one of the other receptionists, I was told it's a walk-in service only. I pointed out the desk and receptionist for appointments, but I was still told it wasn't an option in a "computer says no" way. So I waited over an hour to be processed, then sheepishly walked away (through an automatic door that doesn't fully open) without seeing a health professional or securing an appointment to return. -It was embarrassing how loudly 2 of the receptionists talk, who visibly didn't want to be there, meaning everyone can hear your business and why you're there. Plus, if you've got to verbally tell them your symptoms anyway, what's the point in writing it out on a form for 1 of the same 3 people to then type up? Surely just queue, tell them your issue, they type it there and then, and it skips the form altogether. I don't want to discourage anyone from attending a screening - you should absolutely go - just not at this clinic unless you want to waste a day. For anything time sensitive or urgent, go elsewhere. Ridiculously, I had no choice but to visit a&e as time was of the essence.

I saw a doctor today who was very understanding, explained everything in detail to alleviate any anxiety i had, and was very thorough in her approach. She was very knowledgeable and was a great help.
