    This surgery is now only taking booking calls on a Wednesday each week every other day they wont accepting calls or bookings, they dont accept e-consult either! We all appreciate they are busy, we all are but where are all these people coming from that they have can only take calls on one day of the week! Funding this practice should be reviewed as this is not acceptable, my partner has been trying to get an appointment for weeks and can never get through, she calls on the Wednesday as the recorded message says it then goes through and automated system and then goes to an engaged tone which is then cut off! This would not be so bad if they coudl uyse the e consult service but they dont. So how is anyone supposed to get an appointment? You cant call, you can email, you use online services, and they wont take walk ins! How many people are being made more ill having to wait for symptoms to get worse as they cant even have a quick call to discuss! This surgery needs to be put into special measures as it is clearly not able to operate as many other busy surgeries can! The issue in hand is menopausal and whilst not in any immediate threat to life needs to be dealt with as it could be something more serious, but it would appear no-one can take a call about it, so will most likely end up becoming something that the equally busy hosptial or emergency walk in centre will have to deal with, which begs the question, why are we funding GP's when the money would be better spent on increasing capacity or number of walkin centres if GP surgery cant perform the purpose of their existence. I would reference that my own local surgery uses both e cosult and takes calls and is based in a busy area so its not all surgeries. I hop this review will help the surgery to review its policies and practices to allow the tax paying patients value for the funding it receives
