I moved away from Hemyock to Cullompton I’m 2018 and was told they could keep me registered even though I’m not in the direct local area still. I revived a letter in April 2023 telling me that I’m being removed due to a high rise in new clients. I wasn’t given any advice or help despite being half way through a referral process and having my regular prescriptions here. I set up with a new practise and despite being forced to do this, I am now having my letters from the referral still sent to the old practise and also when going to collect my previously ordered prescription they told me they can’t do anything and because I ‘haven’t sent it up with my new surgery’ despite not even wanting to change to a new surgery and not being given any advice that I needed to set up repeat prescriptions again. I have no idea what to do now as I don’t have an actual GP to accept my order of prescription to the new place and I’m completely desperate. A dreadful experience that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Avoid at all costs. Completely unprofessional.
