Have an appt this morning at 8:20. Desperately trying to contact them as I am unable to make that appointment due to a fall and hurting my knee. Have been trying to leave a voice mail for hours. Really frustrating.

Further to my previous post, this issue has now been resolved. As far as the actual consultation is concerned, I can report that it was excellent, very helpful and professional in every way.

This is not exactly a review, but I know of no other way to contact the ENT Clinic. I attended a consultation at the Harpenden clinic at 9:55 on Wed 31st July 2024, at which the consultant presecribed some medication, the prescription for which was to be forwarded to Crown Pharmacy. As of today (9th August) Crown have not received this prescription. Please advise progress. Trevor Scarborough

Thank you for taking my Dad's circumstances into consideration, for being kind, efficient and understanding and for ensuring that our return hospital transfer was made as quickly as possible. I visit this clinic every three months to the ENT department and is such a professional and excellent team. I prefer this team to when I used to go privately, though was attentive, efficient and so friendly and helpful. I actually look forward to my appointments and they always run on time, even though they are only eight minutes slots which is quite remarkable, the team will always fit you in if you need an urgent appointment.

The clinic is based in an older building, with narrow, but clean corridors & the seating is sparse because of the available room. All the necessities were there to guard against COVID, with masks being supplied if you didn't bring one. A young technician performed my audiology testing & was very reassuring & polite, performing the procedure with skill & ease. After a short break, Nurse Claire ushered me into the consultation room which seemed fully equipped, was tidy & clean, but only after sanitising my hands again. The Doctor was to the point & performed a thorough examination of my ears before explaining the test readouts & the areas of concern, before offering some advice & treatment & handing me a prescription. The rooms I saw were clean, tidy & seemed well equipped. The staff were professional, polite, understandable and well informed. I had a positive experience of this very professionally run clinic & wouldn't hesitate attending it again or making a recommendation. Thank you all for your time & considerable effort on my behalf.

I was referred to this clinic as I was told my ENT no longer does NHS work. From the moment I entered, it was obvious the ENT was desperate to get me back out the door, she was already printing out a pamphlet to send me home with - a pamphlet that contained a list of things to try which my GP and I had already gone through over the last 3 months. When I tried to tell her this, she cut me off constantly. She was not interested in hearing what my GP and I had already done to try and help my issue and even prescribed me two medicines that I have already had - and told her did not work. She was dismissive, disinterested, and made me realise how great my old ENT was. In the last 3 months I have spent almost £100 on prescriptions that have not worked, I wish I had saved the money and gone to see my old ENT privately instead. The whole appointment was pointless. I left with exactly the same information I had entered with. I was referred here because none of the suggestions had worked, and she sent me home with the same suggestions. I also struggled to hear her, even though I have no hearing issues, and had to keep asking her to repeat things.

ENT appointment, said it was NHS...I'm not so sure.. its a private clinic typical tory "mashup".. Ended up with camer up me nose into sinuses, no warning of what might happen in next 24 hour..ended up in watford A&E unable to stand & vomiting.. diagnosed with labyrinths.. caused by this clinic.. who don't want to know...
