The first point of call when contacting the surgery by phone is with the receptionists. I have no problem with them as they do try their best under extreme pressure, however trying to get a doctor or diabetic nurse to call you back appears to be almost impossible. I don't Know if this is because messages they send to doctors and nurses are being ignored, or if the messages are not sent properly. I cant understand why the message service does not work at this clinic as it would be most helpful. I left a message with the practice over 7 days ago for me to ask about a diabetic injection that my Pharmacist recommended but am still waiting for an answer. This is because one of my items is not available due to problems with supply from the manufactures. Hopefully things will be sorted out soon.

On 10.10. I went to make 2 appointments for my daughter. One for a vaccination and one for a GP consultation. For both I was only given one option, and only during school hours. Despite asking for an alternative until November, the reply was just “do you want this appointment or not “. The receptionist asked to hurry as there were 3 other patients waiting, despite just having spent 10 minutes with the person in front of me. I felt treated in a discriminatory way and without any respect or concern about my daughters school attendance.

I have requested my antidepressants be made up of 60 mg n 30 mg total 90 mg as my chemist cannot get them despite me requesting this not been prescribed my chemist has reported that their emails do not get replied to nor do they answer phone due to this I’ve now gone into rebound depression due to lack of medication and feel suicidal just tried to call 12.33 but told by answerphone they are at lunch …. Normally lunch is 1till 2 ps called for a GP appointment with my own GP back in sept first appt 31 Oct !
