    My entire experience being referred to Hillingdon Physio has been surprisingly wonderful! Despite some postal issues causing my referral to be closed before I could have an appt, as soon as I contacted the dept, my referral was reopened immediately. Initially given a telephone appt, the department changed that to a face to face appt, without any fuss, when I explained I had some auditory processing issues due to neurodivergency. I was given an appointment for the next day! The Eastcote Health Centre was really easy to find with plenty of parking. I didn’t have to wait long for my appointment. The physio was professional yet warm and welcoming. She took time to understand what I required from her, to maximise my understanding and was happy to wait for me to write any notes down as we went along. She examined me fully, asking sufficient questions to get a picture of any factors which may have caused/aggravated my issue. I felt that she completely listened to me and was genuinely interested in putting all the jigsaw pieces together to work out the best solution for me. As a military veteran, this is the first time I have ever had physio through the nhs and I am pleasantly surprised. This was genuinely on par with the excellent physio I have received in the past from military physios. I don’t think I am permitted to mention the physio I saw by name, but the female physio on duty in Eastcote on 21st April 2023 is a fantastic ambassador for the nhs! She was incredibly knowledgable, supportive, empathetic and with a great patient approach. Thank you!
