Unable to request hay fever on the app. Called to request a prescription for hay fever. Waited 25 minutes to speak to someone. Received text confirmation that a face to face appointment had been made for a date and time I knew nothing about. No facility on the app to confirm that my prescription request had been authorised. Called the practice to verify prescription authorisation and had to wait 25 minutes to speak to someone. Asked why there is no facility on the app to verify that prescription request had been authorised and was rudely told that 20 000 other patients were waiting for their call to be answered. I told the rude woman that if the app had the facility to make prescription requests and showed prescription authorisation then there would be far less than 20 000 making calls to the practice. Practice manager- can we please use the app technology that tax payers payed billions to provide?
