  1. Review titled Responsive and great care in the GP Acute Illness Hub

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 May 2023

I spoke to my surgery, was triaged the same morning and referred to a GP. They reviewed my record and referred to the Acute illness GP hub at Woking Community Hospital with an appointment for the next morning. With all the negative feedback at the moment I feel it’s important to share positive experiences where improvements are being made. The service I received was quick, responsive and I was assessed and treated to my complete satisfaction.

  2. Review titled Fantastic service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Phoned my GP surgery just before 5pm to make an appointment and was told the earliest available appointment was in 6 weeks. When I explained what my symptoms were I was offered an appointment at the GP Acute Illness Centre at 6.15 that same evening. When I arrived I was in, saw the GP, out and a prescription was waiting at the pharmacy when I got there 15 minutes later. 5 star service which I can't fault in any way.

  3. Review titled First time referred

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Online to GP approx 1000hr within an hour they had booked appointment at 1730hr the same day. Texts and emails with instructions and arrive early and wait in the car and call. I was in, seen and out before my allotted time and prescription sent to the chemist. Arrival at chemist prescription had gone to main company so called hospital and immediately re sent and it arrived in minutes. This is apparently an extension of the GP service and wow totally impressed and staff were fantastic. NHS 5/5 brilliant service and a massive thank you

My GP surgery offered me a quicker appointment through the acute illness centre. I’m an anxious patient but the doctor was lovely, listened and was understanding setting me on a path hopefully to feeling well again.
