    I regularly request repeat prescriptions online. In the past I have been able to bypass the field asking for a mobile phone number [I am 70 next month, and do not have a smartphone]. Tonight I tried a request and found that such a number is now a mandatory field. I am therefore prevented from using the EMIS system completely. I cannot be the only person in the UK who can't or won't use a smartphone, so why is EMIS making life even harder for us? I will now have to visit the surgery to deliver prescription requests. Exactly how is this improving access to GP services?
