  1. Review titled Awful practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

Went yesterday with my mother as she had kidney problems. Waited two hours a asian older lady ,Cant say what her name is because she had no badge quite honestly i dont know who she was or if she even knew what she was doing. Worst day of my life! She was so rude, she was sneezing all over my mother when touching her painful area. No professionalism at all, by the end of the “appointment” she just kept repeating go to the GP or A&E she cant do anything. She didnt give us any advice no antibiotics like she needed. And to top it off when she was basically falling asleep by the computer. People dont waste your time, no help, no advice. I cant believe this place still operates.

  2. Review titled I wonder what qualifications the practitioners have

Rated 2 stars out of 5

my husband attended this walk in centre with bradycardia and lightheadedness today. We were aware how busy a&e could be that’s the reason to choose the walk in centre. still it took 3 hours to see a practitioner. The advanced clinical practitioner reviewed him was concerned about his bradycardia but she didn’t even take an ecg. He had to drive himself a&e. I don’t think this is appropriate. I wonder the advanced clinical practitioners coming to work in this walking centre know how to interpret a ecg. Long wait to see a practitioner and no help from them. What a nightmare

  4. Review titled Highly satisfied

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Unfortunately we had a 3 hour wait because the centre was very busy possibly because doctors surgeries had no availability, which is why we were there. Once we were seen by a pharmacist who was extremely kind, thorough and caring and took time to diagnose the symptoms properly. He had an excellent sense of humour and we went on our way with a handshake for a job well done and a prescription waiting at our chemists.

  5. Review titled Do not see Nurse Practitioner

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 09 December 2024

I arrived at 10 on Sunday 8th December, the wait time was only 45 minutes which I thought was very good Unfortunately when seen by the Nurse Practitioner she was very dismissive and uncaring. After saying I had asthma and a continuous cough for 4 weeks she dismissed me as having a virus. I attend my own GP today after having a horrendous night They have prescribed me antibiotics and steroids and are arranging a chest xray. My temperature was also 38.9 which she said was very high. How can your Nurse Practitioner have missed all those symptoms?

  6. Review titled Extremely helpful

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I came with severe back pain on new years eve. The reception team sorted a wheel chair out straight away, I got to see the nurse who was very thorough, listened to my problems and history of struggling from a sports injury with muscle strain and how I've tried to manage the pain. She was very informative, I felt much clearly for a course of action to help get to the bottom of the cause of the pain and didn't just prescribe me some pain meds. She was down to earth, kind and patient. Forgive my broken grammar, it's hard to focus with the pain. However I would feel more than confident to visit this clinic again and I'm appreciative that it was available after not having any joy with getting an appointment to see my gp. Thankyou all the staff there.

  8. Review titled Disappointed

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 October 2024

I personally found the nurse that saw me very dismissive and a little patronising unfortunately. I can accept that sometimes there are illness’, virus’, symptoms that can’t be treated immediately or with medication. However, I would like to feel that all my symptoms were listened to and considered before making a prognosis - as a health care professional I would expect this to be of highest priority- to listen. Very disappointed by this kind of behaviour and will not return or recommend this place due to this experience.

Sit and wait. But staff got through patients swiftly. Clean. Lift available. Carpark pay and display close by. Great service when unable to get GP appointment or have health problem that worsens over weekend. Thank you for your help today.
