Review titled Car parking refusal
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 30 April 2018
I have been to Kingsgate House today. I wasn’t allowed in the car park at the front of the building after being told to park round the back as parking at the front of the building was no longer allowed. This front car park was completely empty. I’m a disabled driver and cannot walk far or negotiate steps which I told the staff opening the barrier on the ground floor. They informed me that I needed to get hold of the NHS because it was nothing to do with them hence my comments. When did the front car park become private and no longer available to patients especially disabled people?

Review titled Excellent service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Recently attended a Dermatology appointment at Kingsgate House and couldn't fault the service. Free on-site parking, spotlessly clean building and friendly professional staff, right through from the receptionists to the nurses and doctors. Well done.

Review titled Excellent, specialist facility for orthopaedic problems.
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Linda - Posted on 07 November 2017
I am going here for a hip problem and the treatment is superb. The receptionist at the entrance who directs people and parking, is wonderful and makes you feel welcome immediately, (critically important). Worth their weight in gold. The physiotherapists are excellent. You know you are in really good hands. Receptionists on first floor are friendly and efficient. Parking is brilliant and free. As I left this morning there was a very attractive coffee van outside, which is a great idea. Well done Kingsgate, and the NHS, when everyone is under terrible pressure.

Review titled heart faiure clinicConsultant
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by ray rimmer - Posted on 09 November 2017
When I was first diagnosed with heart failure the consultant I was invited to a clinic at Kingsgate and I went with some trepidation However with the professional expertise of the two members of staff my mind was pyt at ease that I was in good hands in a good environment With the analysis and medication they are improving my condition day by day and it always includes my input and consideration The environment is relaxed and yet professional and should be modelled on in more hospitals The care and attention from them is exemplary and extremely knowledgeable and very comforting In a time when there is so much poor feedback it is a pleasure to highlight 2 members of your team that are shining lights of all that is good in the NHS excellent -keep up your sterling work Regards Ray Rimmer

Review titled Disgusted
Rated 1 star out of 5

My 89 yr old dementia and Alzheimer's suffering mother had an appt for a biopsy, suspected skin cancer, she was poorly on that day so I rang appt line and cancelled it, when the next appt came I was unable to take her, I rang and spoke to receptionist at Kingsgate House, they were very abrupt and rude and said they would rearrange 'on this occasion.' I was then able to get one of the carers from my mothers care home to take her, so spoke to the same receptionist again and explained who was going to take her, unfortunately they were unable to do the procedure due to me not being there to sign the consent form, so another appt has been made and I've got to get my mother there again. You'd think the receptionist would have had the decency to tell me I had to be there...they are dealing with poorly and vulnerable people so a bit of common sense and compassion wouldn't have gone a miss......very disappointing.
