Review titled Faultless service.
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by John Michael Hague - Posted on 31 March 2025
Having requested an appointment early morning, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call, offering an appointment mid morning on the same day. I arrived 10.minutes early, & did not have to wait more than a few minutes before being called in. The "Sn" greeted me with a smile & polite manner, settling me into the consultation. Having relayed all the issues, the "Sn" proceeded to carry out several tests & examinations, & was most thorough. Although having read my notes, the "Sn" went over all manner of historical pertinent questions. I felt that I was in peerless hands due to the thorough investigation. Throughout, I was put at ease, never rushed, all my questions answered in a manner I could understand, & reassured that the intended further investigations that determined the more serious causes, were standard practice - to rule out certain possibilities. I have been with Launceston Practice for about 25 years now, under my 3rd Dr.! Each one as reliable, friendly, & thorough as the last. I must not concluded my review without a mention for the other staff - Nurses & Secretaries. Not a single one has shown anything but warmth, kindness, understanding, reassurance, & the utmost endeavour to get the assistance I required. I feel blessed & lucky to have selected such a marvellous local Surgery... Thank you all!

Review titled Very good patient care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by steven Murphy - Posted on 03 June 2024
I phoned early in the morning and despite there being no appointments available, once the receptionist knew the reason for my call, I was offered an appointment later that day. The doctor i saw was very reassuring, talking through what he would do and why he was doing it, as well as advising me on follow up action i would need to take.
