  1. Review titled Great care bad facilities

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 29 November 2023

I have my midwife appointments at the Waldron Centre- the support I've received so far from the team there has been great, however the facilities leave a lot to be desired. At every appointment we must give a urine sample and it's always a nightmare. There are no hangers or pegs in the bathroom for coat/ bags so you have to put them on the toilet floor, which is horrendously unhygienic. Otherwise you have to leave them in the reception area unattended which isn't secure. There are also no toilet seats on any of the toilets so when you flush you are exposed to lots of germs, which also strikes me as really unhygienic- particularly for expectant mothers. There's no hand sanitizer anywhere either. These are small things which could hugely improve expectant mothers experiences of the centre. When I get home I always steam my clothes and bag and spray them with antibacterial spray as I'm so disgusted by the facilities.

  2. Review titled Foot clinic failure

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anna - Posted on 23 January 2023

I've attended Foot Clinic at Waldron Health Centre with my mother in law who came in for an assessment and she needed a translator. Person who seen us was very abrupt. My mother in law who doesn't speak/understand the language have told me she found that person to be rude. We think it is not acceptable to speak to any patient in this manner.
