I have always had a good experience at this practice. Today, I went in to have my blood taken. The nurse, who is a locum with the practice, was very good and helpful. I was instructed to give a urine sample which I could do then or bring in. I did and when I asked the receptionist where could I drop it, I had the coldest possible response we do not take samples after 3pm. No other effort was given in helping. I therefore had to ask for a new sample bottle and bring back again. 2 points for consideration - don't ask patients in after 3pm if you can't take samples or have the instructions fully conveyed. Secondly, ask your receptionist to be a bit more helpful and smile more. I wasn't rude and she shouldn't be too. If the job satisfaction is that low, look for something else that brings joy.

Did Ask My GP. I've had a cough for a week. Thought I might need to see GP. He rang in the afternoon and said he would send a prescription to chemist. This is without even seeing me. How can he tell how bad I am. Surely he would need to see me. I'm far from happy and still coughing so much. What do I have to do to have a face to face appointment. Unhappy patient
