My councillor was so good, she really helped me understand what I was feeling, and how to deal with those feelings, she was very understanding on each session, such a good listener, it helped so much to get everything of my chest.

  2. Review titled Positive experience

I felt reassured after sessions and was given the tools to help me have a more positive outlook going forward. It provided time for reflection and I felt encouraged to move forward. I have put a reminder in my phone for the same time every week to have a reflective time in place of my appointment. Family and friends have noticed a positive improvement in my mood and starting to find some joy going forward. Also feel encouraged to monitor myself in the future to be aware of whether I might need to reach out for help again.

My CBT sessions where very helpful and enlightening. My councillor was very professional. I had face to face and had to wait a little while longer but was so worth it. I highly recommend this practice.

  5. Review titled Saved My Life!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Fought my doctor for 2.5 yrs to get access to Iapts services, so glad I did. Was not ill enough for Cmhrs so at that time for years no services on Nhs for me. Not able to afford private. It was hell dealing with depression on my own with odd short training course. So grateful Mental Health Act 2010 introduced Mind Matters to Surrey in 2013, giving me access finally to good quality, appropriate treatment methods. After a year had the same Senior Therapist for continuity of care, used them for short periods over last few years to stay on my road to recovery. Had breaks in between to reflect on therapy and apply. Had many challenges in last few years multiple non-fault car accidents triggering symptoms plus other major life challenges on top of disabilities like work, financial, family and Parental Alienation. This service helped me reach the light at the end of the tunnel develop my resilience, positivity and coping skills. Prescription of Silver Cloud is consolidating these tools now. The self-referral option after a 6 months break is so important.
