  1. Review titled Unexpected hassle

Rated 4 stars out of 5

We had a 10:00am appointment on 25.10.23 at the St.Thomas Church for our 2.5 year old son. Both me and my husband along with our son arrived for the appointment only to find out that noone had turned up for the clinic. The people in the church were very kind to us to make us comfortable while we were waiting. We waited for a good 20 minutes to find out that there had been a miscommunication about our appointment which may have caused the delay. Both me and my husband had taken the morning off from work to be able to attend the appointment. Later, we were told that they had arranged a health visitor to visit our home at 11:00. The health visitor who came over was very nice and we had a good chat and had all our questions answered. She was kind to apologise, and also gave us enough time for discussion, questions. What I want to highlight that it caused us a lot of hassle in the morning to wait, unaware about whether the appointment has been cancelled or rescheduled. We had to juggle quite a bit between work and our son's daycare routine as well. Overall the experience with the health visitor at home was very good, but the waiting and miscommunication about the appointment at the church was a annoying and bit of a hassle thank you Warm regards, Ekta

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback regarding your recent experience of the health visiting team. We would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused to you and your husband by the error made in the appointment made for your son's review. This has been looked into by the team and lessons learnt to ensure the mix-up does not happen again. Thank you for your kind feedback about the health visitor who came to your home to carry out the review.
