All the staff were friendly, courteous and professional. My eyesight has been restored to exactly as it was when I first had my cataracts dealt with, and all done within an hour or so. A wonderful result. Thank you.

Everyone involved in my care on the day of surgery from the reception, nursing staff to the surgeons were friendly, reassuring, professional, gave constant information of next steps and checked my comfort.

I've had a great experience, The stuff were very polite and helpful. I had Cataract surgery done on both of my eyes very happy with the results my vision is very clear now.

I selected Newmedica to deal with my cataract surgery and I was immensely impressed. From start to finish they were professional, detailed and friendly. My initial appointment for assessment was made within a few days and surgery booked just 10 days later. Newmedica arranged for an Uber to collect me and take me home at no cost to me. On arrival for surgery I was made to feel comfortable and everything was explained to me in detail by a friendly doctor and nurse. At each stage, my prescription, notes and concerns were dealt with. Some of this was repetitive but, it was comforting that they were ensuring, at each stage that there were no mistakes or misunderstandings. The surgery was painless. After the short surgery, the surgeon sat with me over a cup of coffee and explained everything I needed to know in terms of aftercare and any questions I had. I was then sent on my way. 24 hours later I had a follow up call to ensure there were no issues that I was too hesitant to report. Newmedica and their staff have been a pleasure to work with and I cannot fault their professionalism, service and care.

This was my second cataract surgery, both very positive experiences. The second surgery, a different experience, to the first. Both quick and painless. Was in and out, on both occasions in less than an hour and a half. The staff are superb, very friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Answering any questions you may have, making you feel totally relaxed and at ease. Nothing is too much trouble, your wellbeing is their number one priority. The Centre has a spacious car park, with plenty of car parking available. The building is modern, clean and well laid out. There is a large waiting area. It has been life changing for me. My vision has been restored in both eyes and I can see better, than I did as a teenager. That was a few decades ago. From diagnosis to second surgery was less than twelve weeks. A very efficient service. I can highly recommend NewMedica and the Aztec West, surgical centre, Bristol. A truly five star exoerience and I cannot thank you enough.

From first contact to follow up check up the process was well organised and amazingly quick. I was most impressed. Three days latter very pleased with the cataract replacement. I would definitely recommend Newmedica

I been there today all practical was great,then one of practical dropping in my eyes to see the consoltan then I meet her Asian old women,before she check or test my eyes said I’m not eligible for cataract surgery your eyes still is good then I asked why before you test my eyes and you never see my cataract seturation make the disagan cos I’m not private pension cos she offer me private I can sort it next week but nhs take the few years.after I got disappointed of this care from her she test my eyes and said oh yes or eyes is carat need to surgery,go to your GP and refery from them.she doesn’t car about the pension at all new medics doctors just care about privet pension not NHS one.

Two week wait from initial referral for cateract assessment. Surgery done the following day. Quick and painless. Staff are polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.
