This was my first eye cataract procedure. I can not praise the Newmedica medical staff highly enough. They were kind, friendly, empathetic and very considerate and fully explained the procedure in advance. I felt very reassured by the professionalism and proficiency shown me. My visit was relaxed and mostly discomfort free and my anxieties about an eye procedure were allayed. A great experience. Thank you

The Newmedica centre in Newcastle is a very nice place. I was well looked after and the staff and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend them to family and friends. I will be having my other cataract surgery shortly and will feel more relaxed knowing I'll be well looked after.

I have just had my 2nd cataract done today. I was really worried about the first one as I was extremely nervous. All of the staff here were so unbelievably helpful. They were all really friendly and put me at ease as much as they could. The experience was unbelievable. Looking back I don’t know why I was so worried. The surgeon was wonderful. I cannot praise the whole team enough. I can only say that I cannot recommend Newmedica at Newcastle highly enough. A truly wonderful place.

I was treated like a king from the moment I went in to the moment I had my surgery by everyone and when I left exactly the same and rang me the next day to see if I was ok cannot thank the staff for all there help they were awesome

I can't recommend this practice enough. All staff were caring, friendly, very informative about the process from beginning to the end. I was very nervous but felt reassured all the way through and would definitely recommend.

Everyone was friendly and nothing was a bother . Everything was explained in detail and every aspect of the procedure explained. The whole procedure was around an hour and all aftercare explained in detail. Overall nothing could have been done better.

The whole experience made me feel at ease. All the staff were lovely so polite and considerate.The clinic was extremely clean.Being able to have coffee while you wait was a good touch especially for those waiting to transport you afterwords.The staff that carried out cataract operation made sure you were comfortable while procedure was carried out and surgeon explained what he was doing and what sensation you would experience. In all every step of way was made as good as could be.

Very welcoming. All staff polite, courteous, professional and very friendly. My surgeon was very engaging and explained everything during the procedure.

All the staff were caring, taking time to explain things, pre, during and post surgery. Very fast lead time for appointments for assessment and surgery. I could select the consultant of my choice.
