    My wife needed to book an urgent blood test, her GP specifically told her because it said "Urgent" on the form itself she could walk-in to any Blood test centre and be seen the same day. She went to Braintree Livewell Hub and was rudely told she couldn't be seen today because she didn't have a sticker on her form. This centre should not be in operation if it can't treat it's patients with care. The receptionists were un-interested, rude and made no effort to understand the situation and then ignored my wife to serve someone else. We spoke with our GP and Livewell customer service who both said they had never heard of a sticker being needed and "Urgent" should have been enough on the form. There is no phone number available to call them directly (the phone number on the NHS leads to an operating centre who say they do not run this branch, and the phone number the operating centre gave me was just a generic call centre that would not give me a direct phone number for this branch).

    Impossible to contact, Call back, only option, they never call back. no email, no contact available through NHS. I cannot make contact any way!I now have to, with a Achilles Rupture, and crutches, hobble to bus stop, get bus to Manor Street, hobble to the Hub to discuss my upcoming Physio which is totally inappropriate.

    Went in to book a blood test and told to book on line tryed to nothing on the site got The service is very very poor. Phoned and left a message for someone to call back but no reply.People at the deck very unhelpful.This is a very important test as I have cancer. If could give no stars l would.

    Called the 0300 number and got no usefully response, left message but nobody called me back. Why is the Livewell Hub in Braintree so hard to contact?

    As an OAP age95+, I received courteous, polite and helpful service and guidance. A message was sent on my wife's phone instead of our preferred home phone 01376 339713. I am not an IT boffin and do not use sophisticated mobile phones. I look forward to receiving a medical response, hopefully within two weeks. Thank you.

    It was not made clear when we asked at MountnChambers, Coggeshall Rd for our blood test forms. We were told it would be printed at the hub. On arrival, when my wife was called through, the clinician could not print the form. My wife was told to go back to the reception in the hub as it was Mount Chambers surgery and on the way through told me to do the same. At which point I spoke to another clinician to convey my disappointment at the lack of proper information. Unfortunately, the person I spoke to thought I was being abusive, which was not the case and other people nearby were present and also realised that they did not have forms either. The other people were not Mount Chambers patients and could not have their blood tests, what a waste of time. However, we feel the clinician could have acted more professionally, instead of saying that the so called abuse was above her pay scale and she was not paid enough to take this! I think this is thoroughly inappropriate and the pay scale has nothin to do with me. Perhaps the parties involved can ensure that proper information is given by doctors surgeries and when arriving at the hub. We made a point of actually asking at Mount Chambers, Coggeshall Rd, just told printed out at the hub, no mention of having to go to the hub reception and ask for it!

    After using Braintree Community Hospital for blood tests have been told to use Livewell Hub in future. There are no contact details on the Livewell website and no information as to how to book a blood test. After a great deal of time and effort put into searching on line I found the Swiftqueue website and was able to book an appointment. I am reasonably computer literate but it would be a nightmare for less able people to find the process for booking appointments. Surely it is fundamental to the whole process to advise people when they first go onto the Livewell website how to book an appointment. Obviously it would be more straightforward t have a telephone contact number for bookings. Sorry but this is typical of the lack of thought being put into these new online systems.

    I used the online Patch’s system, to request a doctors appointment this morning. Within two hours of the request, I was offered a morning appointment at the Livewell Hub. I attended, it was new, very spacious, very clean, lots of staff, not a long wait to be seen. I needed a blood test, and was able to go back out to reception after my appointment and was offered a blood test then and there. Absolutely amazing service… thank you so much.

    Booked for a simple blood test early morning; used to use the superb friendly facility at st michaels hospital This glossy hub centre is a nightmare; no parking available, right in centre of town with poor access; facilities on first floor with lifts out of order so inaccessible for less able bodied; staff not interested and kept waiting for no reason for a timed appointment; In total contrast to experience at st michaels Why take an efficient operation and make it worse; classic numptyism
