  1. Review titled Great Contact…. Disappointing Outcome

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 September 2024

First point contact staff were great. Professional, empathetic and really listened to my requirements, answering all of my questions. Therapist contacted myself to undertake an assessment. She was polite, clear and thorough. Very professional and kind throughout. My problem lies with the outcome, calling up with a single point trauma and having to have a “phased approach”. This is just one big waste of time. Looks like I will be paying privately (as usual). So disappointed with the service.

  2. Review titled Awful service - completely unprofessional

by Anonymous - Posted on 03 July 2024

Completely awful experience here, have the cheek to cancel your support if you miss sessions “due to their policy” but this is never explained to you beforehand so I don’t know how you would know this. I have been let down by therapists multiple times and the recent one cancelled on the day and then again the week later and then said she couldn’t do the week after that. Then had the cheek to say I had missed too many sessions. Read other reviews on how dire this service is so I should have known really. If you want your mental health to get worse then this service will do it. The way I have been spoken to and misinformed by one therapist, in particular, in this place is shocking. My mental health is worse than ever after going here. I’m not even sure they are actually qualified. Please go somewhere else for help if you can. This place will be a constant disappointment and keep changing or cancelling appointments and then blame you when you have to cancel for genuine reasons. Terrible service. This is supposed to help people, not make them more stressed and upset than before. Get better help elsewhere if you can as this sort of thing needs to be dealt with by qualified, professional, and kind people and this was not my experience at all.

  4. Review titled Great CBT therapist

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Jean Borrows - Posted on 12 January 2024

The therapy I received was excellent. I wanted to sort out why I dealt with things in a certain way due to childhood abuse. Unfortunately several dramas happening in my life prevented me from achieving this. After discussion with my therapist I decided to discontinue my therapy. Again therapist was excellent sending information I could peruse and use

  5. Review titled Felt unsupported

Rated 1 star out of 5

Sadly my experience with Talk Liverpool was not what I expected. I was put onto Silvercloud (CBT via my laptop) I found it muddled and with no explanation. I tried to contact via email for help and was told someone would contact me, this never happened, emailed numerous times no response, tried to call and phone rang out then just went dead. The next thing I know is, I have been discharged for not using Silvercloud, which Is untrue as I have tried...I feel this is a shoddy service and really needs looking at. Really disappointed.
