Called the Practice yesterday 5th June 2024 to book prostrate cancer test, was on hold for about 40min, then told that i couldn't book the test, that i had to call back and speak to a gp. couldn't be connected to the gp as there is a time frame to call. Called back and was on hold for more then 1hr. Still couldn't book the test, was told that i don't need one, Even though i am above 50yrs, black and history of prostrate cancer in the family. After going back and forth the gp said she will send me a link on my phone to book the test. Till now i still haven't gotten any link. The Govt is pushing and encouraging people to go get tested, but the gp practice is not making this easy or helpful.
