After being required to do an online assesment and a telephone assesment, I was finally at the clinic. This turned out to be for another assessment. So 12 weeks after the first assessment, here I was for another assesment. Despite the fact that it was recommended to me by a consultant at the hospital that I am seen at the MSK unit. The member of staff was friendly and spend 5 minutes checking the problem area and asking me some questions. At this point I was expecting a recommendation or treatment suggestions to manage my ongoing pain. Instead the response was that I should give it another 2 to 3 months and see if things improve. Please can someone explain how this is in any way helpful?
