Since the Covid pandemic we have had good service from Mirfield Health centre. Phone consultations were effective, appointments made if necessary, and as soon as "normal service" could resume, it did. Staff on reception are very busy, but I have never failed to make contact, sometimes after a very long wait, but I have always found them to be helpful and courteous. I will make online appointments when I can, and have rarely failed to find an acceptable one, although the choice of doctors can be limited. We have been with the health centre through a number of incarnations and doctors, we started in 1971 and have always been satisfied, or very pleased, with the service provided. The practice has always had a policy of giving patients the necessary time they need, never the "one appointment one set of symptoms, your time is up" .We know from family and friends who do not have this level of service that Mirfield is lucky to to have this practice.
