    I needed help with what turned out to be a life threatening situation (Heart attack) and was very impressed by the chap on the phone who called an ambulance. Thank you very much!

    I phoned 111 from a location near to this service on Tuesday 20 December around 10:00 am at a time when the system was under huge pressure to report breathing difficulties related to COVID and a very sore throat. A doctor phoned me back around 8pm and asked a succession of highly relevant questions, gave reassurance and made some very sensible suggestions as well as issuing a prescription directly to my chosen pharmacy. I felt that I was treated as an individual and that I received some very helpful advice. Thank you

    My wife has been unwell for several days. Dizziness, Violent vomitting, diarrhoea, upset stomach. She has been taking medicines to combat the symptoms, but without success. Today, I visited our local pharmacy and had a consultation with the pharmacist. She advised seeking an appointment with our GP. I immediately visited our Surgery and was advised there were no telephone consultation appointments today and was offered one in January 2023. I telephoned 111 and, albeit we waited 45 minutes my wife had a telephone assessment with one of your Team. His people skills were first class and he was extremely reassuring. At the conclusion of the assessment he secured a telephone consultation for my wife with our GP for later this afternoon. A first class service - Thank you.
