I have been sent to this service many times over the years and it has never gotten any better. The staff although friendly are completely powerless to do anything that actually helps and just offer the same pointless 'therapies'. Appointments are all over the place, I even had one on a day the place was closed as well as the phone lines. I sent a message and never heard back from them. I only found out from my GP record they had discharged me from the service without any reason why or a solution to my problems.

So I have been referred to park house as I'm a army veteran who has a disability and complex PTSD. I have been going through therapy upto covid then it all had to stop.... now trying to get back in, with missed appointments, cancelled meetings and absolute lies been told to me all from there side. It is no wonder the mental health service is so bad with a service like this going on. I have been waiting 2 years to be seen been discharged three times while waiting to be referred to other support/therapy groups etc, and when phoning up to find out what's happening been spoken to so rudely by people who clearly don't care!!!. I have been involved with other groups because I've been so low and they referred me back to park house where yet again arranged meetings (cancelled) been phoned so only rings once or twice so shows up on there system that they tried to make contact but had no intention of making the call ( caught them out ... one very embarrassed mental health nurse ) this has happened numerous times... anyway I could go on. My experience is if you don't want to work there don't but stop putting people's lives at risk. Absolutely shocking service and needs looking into as me and probably others are hanging on a tread here. Stop with the lies and just be straight we all know its a stretched service but we would appreciate that more than being given a little bit of hope then have it taken away ecause someone can't be bothered!!!! My review.... stay away if you can !!!
