great service kind of a bumpy ride but nevertheless gets me to my appointments where i want to be, drivers friendly helpful, always a pleasure service has improved after covid, got to meet our driver from a while back brings warm feelings to our hearts, perhaps try to speed up wait times but usually always on time, has taxi patient transport and ambulances and respect elderly with their carers, all in all great service thank you! from p and h.

The staff that helped me get home safely were very nice and funny and knew their job. They cheered and distracted me a lot by talking to me and being friendly which made me forget about the pain I had. Unfortunately I can’t name the kind people that helped me get to my house so I’ll say it in general, they should have a raise.

You book transport because you can't walk then are subject to wait until midnight or the next day to go home after spending a harrowing 3 months in hospitals. There is no staffing in wards or transport to get these bookings completed. Absolutely shocking management!

  7. Review titled Phone unanswered over two weeks, multiple calls and times

Rated 2 stars out of 5

    by Heward C - Posted on 20 September 2023

Sadly disappointed, as above stated title, sometimes I phoned for 17 to 20 mins, just rang and rang. Nhs help is next to none for contacting this service, just passed me to a receptionist at their headquarters who said brusquely "we don't deal with things like this?". You have the option to phone and that's it and if it isn't answered......? *I should point out that the Cumrbrian staff are very helpful/courteous when you do get through and cannot be faulted. It is the system that stinks.......

  9. Review titled Missed several appointments due to their service

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 October 2023

Have been left waiting 6 hours to be picked up, sat on the phone for a total of 4 hours trying to book (and was hung up on a few times) so I ended up missing the appointment- I’m now sat i the phone a month later hoping they will answer in the next 3 hours so I don’t have to reschedule the appointment yet again. Have also missed two appointments due to the driver going to the wrong address despite me having the correct pick up address on my email confirmation.

  10. Review titled Dhl Patient transport is badly coordinated

Rated 1 star out of 5

    by Aidan S Rivett-Carnac - Posted on 02 May 2023

Transport to Dialysis unit is generally good. Transport after Dialysis is very hit and miss. I often travel in with patients who live near me but this is seldom the case going home. Waits of two to three hours is common. Drivers do not seem to realise that we do not feel well yet they drive recklessly, too fast and make me nauseous and car sick. The return journey controllers don't seem to know there way around London. I have been ferried all over the place dropping other patients off no where near where i live. It is a poor service and needs a lot of attention and coordination and sorting out.
