Today i was half way to attend my appointment, got phone call to say cancelled, like the first appointment 2 weeks previous. I first dealt with this practice (croft shifa health Centre rochdale), just under 2 years ago ,waited hours to be seen, then got asked of why i was there & also asked me what is the problem with my eyes,said they have not got my file from the hospital who referred me , told me if i did not go back i would go blind ,girlfriend crying & really upset of what she heard. Only found out today , that it is the same practice under new management (once again), i really only trust Tameside hospital with my eyes they have looked after me for over ten years there ophthalmology department is the only place to be treated. please , please tameside general stop sending people to practice plus group, you are doing more harm than good.

Appointment was on time, both the nurse and opthalmologist were kind, knowledgeable and professional. Thank you for a brilliant service, much appreciated.
