After checking that the blood clinic closed at 11.30. I arrived at 9.40 to be greeted with the clinic already closed. I was told to get an appointment I would have to arrive at 730 am when people start queuing. This is ridiculous. People have jobs to go to and children... I can't spend hours waiting for blood tests. I am also worried about my condition and would like it ASAP. The bookable ones were in 3 or more weeks time. Surely in this day and age a simple booking in system can be used for same day and next day tests. I dont blame the staff at all. The NHS is on its knees.
