Review titled Some of the staff make things very difficult
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I want to start off by saying that most staff here are exceptional, kind caring and so helpful. But some of their policies are weird, and some of the staff are very confrontational and seem to deliberately make things difficult. My son has been unwell since last Friday and I have been unable to get him an appt with the surgery, you cannot get through in the mornings at all, and if you have a school run to do you miss all available appts. I finally took him to Urgent Care last night but they were extremely busy, and asked him to come back this morning for a booked appt. We went back and he needed a stool sample to be sent to GP, he has had ongoing issues with tummy pain and pale stools since he was 2. Seeing him in pain and in agony, unable to walk and crying from pain at aged 4 has been awful. The surgery refused to accept his stool sample, advised by urgent care because of lack of paperwork, which is on it’s way, and said they would dispose of it. Why are they so unhelpful? After calling the hospital and speaking to an ED doctor he said this was unacceptable and they should have accepted it regardless, and that he would get someone to call them immediately. My son is potentially autistic, in a lot of pain and they refused to help him and refused him an appt. It seems either their policies are incorrect, or some (not all) of their staff need more training to be empathetic to their patients and listen more.
