Obviously, when admitted, I was very ill & extremely nervous. But little did I know how my stay would turn everything around. The staff were kind, helpful & even though very busy, always had time to talk to patients. As I recovered I was able to help the lovely lady with baking. Staff helped me with hair-washing & drying. Nurses were sympathetic when taking bloods. Managers always spoke to visiting family members. The food was v.good and staff were very kind seeking out requests from patients. The cleaning staff smiled & cleaned rooms & the ward to a high standard. I was able to meet other patients & made friends with many of them. I was grateful to have full support from my family, so with that & the great care from Pyrland, I recovered. Thankyou to all including the doctors.
