    I spent an hour in the waiting room of Rectory Lane today, waiting for my partner who had an appointment. Is it just me, or is it an unprofessional waste of NHS time and money to have a loud, personal conversation as the main receptionist of a GP surgery? I have now, unfortunately, heard the woman on reception's entire life story. Please do your job and stop yapping so we can wait in peace. Thank you.

    Tickets for blood tests used to be given out on a first come, first served bases, as long as you stayed in the waiting area. They have now changed the system to putting the tickets out at 10am. It is now a free for all irrelevant if you have been waiting since 9.30. If you are unsteady on your feet or a slow walker you have no chance in getting the number you should have been allocated. This is absolutely appalling. Pushing people out of the way to get a number or taking two numbers for someone who hasnt yet arrived, I have witnessed this on several occasions when I have been in the waiting room.

    We needed district nurses to administer drugs for what became 6 weeks twice daily. The nurses always attended including bank holidays (xmas and new year) were efficient , professional friendly and helpful. They gave as much support as possible to the patient and partner . We cannot thank them enough
