I rang up in the afternoon to change an appointment which I made in the morning for 3 weeks away. The podiatry receptionist said the appointment that I had made that morning was the only one they had and there was nothing else available other that that date and time. I asked when was the next available appointment and the receptionist said there wasn't any. To say I dont believe a word she said to me would be an understatement. I then asked when was the best time to ring up for an appointment and she said next Monday. Today is Monday. So I was basically told they had no appointments and to wait a week to try again. I can't prove they have no appointments but I have never heard anything like this before when contacting the NHS to arrange an appointment.
