Stuck in endless indefinite loop when I need potentially life threatening medication and support, website offers 0 help or options. I need my prescribed medication as per hospital exam (simple Lansoprazole) yet these are my options: Making appointment in person or on phone: refused, no appointments allowed to be scheduled ever, told to "ring at 8am each morning" so upon doing this phone lines are busy or dead from 7:59am onwards, if anyone ever answers, get put back into start of loop, told to keep trying at 8am. the people on phone just try to get me to go away even after acknowledging this endless loop. All i want is the ability to schedule an appointment, even if it's in the future, just put my request in and tell me when the appointment will be made for, it can't be that hard, all i need is a telephone appointment it doesn't even have to be in person, it will take 2 min of Dr time as i've already been prescribed the lansoprazole by hospital exam and Dr, yet I am having to fight tooth and nail to get a continuation of the medication which was helping, now my heartburn is getting worse to the point of choking again and once again requiring paramedics to save me each time i dare try to eat food. I do use the website (patient access), it does not allow appointment bookings or messaging doctors at all. The 'repeat medication request' does not contain lansoprazole even though I have been prescribed it and in my Documents tab it shows I need to keep taking this medication. Whoever I speak to at the practice does not have my interests in mind and just tries to waive me off as quick as possible and send me back to the start of the impossible and indefinite loop whilst i struggle each day. I have no re course and no options to get my medication, and certainly no help from this practice, and god forbid I try to get my other few issues sorted out that I need a Dr's appointment for, may as well forget it, it's been like this for years now especially with covid. Also i may add, there's a sign saying to wear a mask in this practice, yet not a soul is wearing one and no on enforces it, and soon as you walk in people are coughing and spluttering all over close to each other, insane.
