  1. Review titled Disgusting attitude from Plymouth GUM receptionist

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Kay - Posted on 12 April 2024

One of the receptionists I initially spoke to on the 12/04/24 at 10:34 was so dismissive when I tried to explain some symptoms and concerns and refused my request to see someone in person. I ended up being cut off by her. I’m so angry! Thankfully when I rang up straight after another lady answered who was the opposite, she was extremely helpful and understood my concerns giving me an appointment. The first receptionist should be spoken to, because her attitude could put anxious patients like myself off seeing any health professional in future after being refused to see one.

  2. Review titled Appointments

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Struggling to understand why if you are in need the age of 20 there is drop in sexual health clinics and as an adult above the age of 20 in a two week window they have one appointment time which is of absolute no use to anyone who has a full time job. I am having to take a day off work just to get an appointment! Absolute terrible service and very disappointed.

  3. Review titled Poor customer service from receptionist

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 09 August 2023

I visited this clinic on multiple occasions, and unfortunately, my overall experience remained consistently disappointing. The receptionist's behaviour was a major drawback, as she contradicted herself, and failed to create a comfortable atmosphere. Her disrespectful demeanour, contradictory statements, dishonesty, including shouting in front of others, was particularly off-putting. Despite my continued efforts to remain respectful and patient, the receptionist's attitude and behaviour remained unchanged during each of my visits and her treatment did not improve. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this clinic solely due to the consistently negative experience with the receptionist.

  5. Review titled really welcoming service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I dropped into the Roam Team's mobile testing service, and felt immediately calm, as the staff welcomed me in, and explained all the tests and procedures to me. Extremely helpful service and having it so anonymous makes it a lot more accessible.
