    The person I had was very sweet, however, it was no better help than just writing in a diary or going for coffee with a friend. I was expecting more 'help' and guidance but was met with awkward silences, finishing sessions early, and no real way to explore further into why I feel like I do, etc. I wasn't after some magical cure, just a bit more support and emotional outlet. Overall ended up dreading each session and leaving the service, having not really felt like I could say much more. Over the telephone appointments are super impersonal, especially after waiting well over a year for this short amount of disappointing sessions. Just very disheartened.

We are really sorry that your experience was felt ineffective and awkward and would certainly not want this to happen. We are truly sorry that you feel disheartened. We very much appreciate your comments as they provide opportunity for the service and therapists to have greater awareness, be able to reflect upon, learn from and make necessary adjustments or changes. If you would like to discuss your experience further with us we would be more than happy to arrange a meeting. This could be in person, via video link or by telephone, although I appreciate telephone may not be your preference.
