Review titled worst!
by Hulua Nedelcu - Posted on 06 January 2025
When you are 14 weeks pregnant and have bleeding, cramps, and you are told that this is normal, but you haven't been seen by a gynecologist/midwife, you were sent to the emergency room at Wexham just to have your abdomen pressed and given 1g of paracetamol, this is unacceptable. Any bleeding that includes pain during pregnancy is a significant danger, it's not a normality. This is what happened to me last night at Wexham Hospital, without any scans, absolutely nothing. The discharge note says: suspected miscarriage, but the next appointment is on January 23 with the midwife. I feel like laughing and crying at the same time, it's a huge mockery. I hope that at least today I can resolve to be seen, both for myself and for the baby in my belly.
