I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Spa Medica Bedford for their exceptional care and kindness throughout my cataract operation. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt at ease, knowing I was in expert hands. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, taking the time to explain every step of the process and making sure I was comfortable and informed throughout. The procedure itself was seamless, and I couldn't be more grateful for the attentive care and kindness of the staff. I highly recommend Spa Medica Bedford to anyone in need of cataract surgery – they truly go above and beyond to ensure their patients' well-being. Thank you again for your outstanding service and support!

Excellent Service The service I received at SpaMedica was excellent. All the staff at the hospital are warm and friendly. Their knowledge and understanding of how patients can be nervous. However, they put your mind at rest. The procedure is completely pain free. 24 hours later my eyes were clear and I felt totally ready to go. Thanks to all SpaMedica team

I attended the Bedford Clinic on Friday 7th February for my first cataract removal operation. It was very well organised and I received a warm welcome on arrival. I then went through the different steps needed before the actual operation and all the nurses were very friendly, helpful and informative. I was introduced to the surgeon who put my mind at rest and then the procedure took place. It was absolutely pain free, and when the surgeon told me that I could sit up as it was all done, I could not believe how quickly it had all happened ! The care and attention I received was excellent and I am looking forward to my next visit to have the cataract removed from my other eye.

Difficult to improve on the other comments. The experience was truly enjoyable with plenty of helpful information intermingled with jokes and smiles. I look forward to my check up in about a month. Many thanks to all the staff they were helpful from the welcome at the desk to all the nurses finally the singing surgeon.

It's difficult to add any more to what's already been said by other people. The staff, the facilities, the actual surgery, the after care are all fantastic. To say 'I can now see again' is an under statement. I was becoming not only a danger to myself but other people. That is now all behind me thanks to all the people at Spa Medica, and also the staff at the local opticians who arranged my first appointment and assesment and consequent surgery at Spa Medica. All this happened within a matter of a few weeks and I was catagorised as a 'complex case' For all the 'stick' the NHS get I cannot fault them for the way Spa Medica treated me and I shall be forever grateful to them for giving me my life back. It's made all the income tax and national insurance I've paid in over a lifetime worth it. Saying thankyou just seems so inadequate for the amazing treatment I was given and the incredible positive difference it has made to my life. Please, anyone who needs this kind of eye surgery please look at the Spa Medica website, Any concerns are laid to rest by looking at the website. It's 100% informative and factual, again excellently thought through for anyone who's worried about having eye surgery. I just wish I'd gone and had it all done long before I actually did. Truly, there is nothing to worry about. I've walked the walk now I can talk the talk. Before my surgery I wouldn't have been able to see to type this review, now I can catch up with everything I recorded on tv and actually sit down and enjoy watching tv in general again.I'm now busy catching up on all my geeky internet stuff as well. I've gone back to my hobby of photography as well. So, Spa Medica, thanks a million for the amazing treatment I got from you and the amazing work you do.

I was referred by my optician on a Tuesday. I had the pre op on the Friday and cateract surgery the following Wednesday so just 9 days from referral. I couldn't have asked for better. The whole process was very organised and efficient and the staff friendly.

All I can say is that from my introduction to SpaMedica from my optician the service provided was excellant, beginning with my intial assessement where any fears were dismissed. On my procedure day the route through the whole exercise was trouble free with all the staff and medical staff totally reassuring. Any fears I may have had have been dispelled so that having a second procedure I will be more relaxed.

Attended for first cataract removal, I was very nervous, but all the staff put me at ease, from the driver to the surgeon and all between. The facilities are excellent and the service is second to none. Am actually looking forward to next visit.
