Great staff from the moment I walked into reception, through to the nurses and doctors behind the scenes. They all showed great kindness and empathy to their patients, me included. I’ve had two cataracts removed in the space of two months and there was absolutely nothing to worry about. Tea and biscuits after the op was a nice gesture too. Would highly recommend Bedford SpaMedica to anyone.

Cannot fault the efficiency, kindness and professionalism of the staff. Time elapsed from my optometrist's referral to operation was only 19 days which included all the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Could not fault it in any way from the staff to the facilities all were first class. I was apprehensive but was put at my ease and felt no pain.

A professional friendly and supportive experience. All staff were courteous helpful and professional. Within a week I’d had an assessment and surgery on my left eye without any complications. My distance vision is now very good indeed. On my first visit back in November last year my right eye was assessed along with surgery and even with an eye pressure complication the Spa team couldn’t have been better. My sincere thanks to all involved.

The clinic is very clean, the staff are all extremely friendly and very efficient. From start to finish you are looked after in every way coffee and biscuits are available in the waiting area. After you will meet the nurse who will explain the whole procedure . Then when your turn comes the doctor will chat to you and explain the operation.

I have now had 2 cataract procedures with Spa Medica and their service is faultless. Friendly, fast and efficient. Very clean and building built for purpose. Very low waiting list . I was contacted on both occasions within 2 days of my optician referring me . You don’t get that service much nowadays with the NHS , so this is a refreshing change ! Thank you to all the staff who made me feel comfortable throughout the procedures . Thoroughly recommend.

Very kind and caring from start to finish. I received a call to book my pre-assessment the day after my referral from my optician. My pre-assessment and surgery were booked and completed within 12 days. The Staff at the centre were very caring and re-assuring and the whole process very smooth and well organised.

All staff are a delight with which to interface. Every team member is knowledgeable, honest, polite, competent and compliant - nothing was too much trouble and all happily answered my questions.
