Cataract Surgery was carried out extremely well and it went like clockwork. Very smooth operation and the result after 4 days is very promising with very much improved sight salready.

I felt welcomed as soon as l arrived. A little anxious but the staff made me feel at ease. All very professional and every thing fully explained to me. No such fears when l have my other done. Thank you.

From the time I arrived through to my treatment everyone was friendly but professional.Nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Spamedica.

On my arrival I was extremely nervous, but I was soon put at ease by the very professional and sympathetic reception staff. The surgeon and nursing staff were also amazing, I can honestly say all my fears were soon forgotten.

I am very pleased with the service provided by Spa Medica Bexhill. After being referred by my opticians in March I could have had the procedure done the next month but for personal reasons I delayed a few weeks- Very quick service- ! The staff at Bexhill were friendly, professional and helpful and I am delighted with the results- One bit of feedback for you was that when I asked how long I would be off work I was told 4 weeks which concerned me as I cannot take time off like that. I felt the nurse should have asked me what type of work I do- As I am desk based then most people are back at work straight away, and in fact I was able to work the same day as the op. I do understand that with manual jobs then it may be longer until you can go back to work- this is only a minor criticism but I think important to be getting people working soonest rather than encouraging them to take time off ! All in all first class service, excellent choice by the NHS to fulfil cataract ops using Spa Medica and really good service from Spa Medica themselves

My appointment came through a week after my referral. Both the pre-op assessment and the surgery itself were painless and efficient, despite my nerves. The staff were very good, friendly and above all proficient in their roles. I was in and out in less than an hour on the day of the surgery and am really pleased with the outcome. Huge thanks to all the staff for making the day as painless as possible!

Opticians appointment led to referral within week. First appointment within 1 week and op 2 weeks later. Surgeon was brilliant and the staff kind and caring. Building very clean. Biscuits & puzzles while you wait. All together a fantastic service. Op did not hurt and was over in 10 minutes. No after pain either. Felt a bit wierd for a while but soon adjust.
