Everything one could hope for in any hospital - professional, polite and kind staff in a clean and attractive environment. Seen very quickly which was brilliant. Do SpaMedica have clinics for any other ailments? If so, that’s where I want to go!

I was very impressed with the spamedica Bexhill facilities and would recommend it to anybody. I found all the staff very professional friendly and caring and I received excellent treatments for the removal of cataracts in my left eye. I am looking forward to going back and having the same procedure on my right eye as soon as I am able thank you for looking after me.

All the staff at SpaMedica Bexhill were very good. However, the clinic is located on an industrial estate on a bypass that has almost no public transport - only five buses a day were listed on the nearest bus stop. This is terrible for the mostly elderly patients, especially as a cataract operation involves multiple visits. Second, it is impossible to contact SpaMedica Bexhill directly: there is only one central phone number in Bolton. My operation was put on hold while I waited for a hospital report, and no one seemed to be taking responsibility for getting it moving again once Spamedica had the report. It took weeks of waiting and two phone calls to Bolton before I found someone who knew how to deal with the matter.

I was quite nervous before my visit to Spamedica but all the staff where very professional and made you feel comfortable from the pre-op visit and then on the day of surgery. Everything was very organised, received phone calls from Specsavers for the checkup a month after surgery and then the second surgery was carried out six weeks after the first.
