Had a cataract removal on the 12th February 2024. I was very apprehensive, but the staff, so friendly, helpful and professional and very reassuring. The operation was a total success and I now look forward to the left eye being done. Thank you Spamedica.

Cannot fault this clinic, everyone was so helpful, accommodating, kind and caring. I was unbelievably nervous and anxiety was through the roof. They were so patient and calm with me. Very reassuring and looked after me from start to finish. It was such a nice relaxed atmosphere and each stage from pre assessment to the operation day they all bent over backwards to make me feel relaxed as possible. There was even a nurse I knew and they allowed her to come in with me to hold my hand as I was so nervous. I am so happy with all the care they have given and communication was very good 😊 cannot fault any part of my experience, I can only give praise and 100% recommend to anyone

A very efficient production line but stil makes you feel like you matter as an individual. Staff are efficient and also seem happy in what they do with mutual respect for each others roles. Estimated timings are spot on. Now on day 4 post op and very pleased with the results. Can't wait to have the other eye done.

Receptionists welcome patients with a coffee. Every staff member - from receptionists to surgeons, and every nurse and analyst in-between - makes a concerted effort to make every individual patient feel relaxed at ease. Operations are carried out within days of the pre-op assessments. At a time when it seems 'de rigeur' to criticise and complain about everything and everybody, the efficiency, care and attention at Spamedica is absolutely second to none.

I was cared for from the time I arrived until I left. I was a person rather than a number which can occur in some hospitals. My operation was successful & well managed it the waiting areas. A great team effort by all staff.

Clinic very clean. Pleasant, welcoming and friendly staff. The complicated op. was an experience, that’s for sure, but it wasn’t painful! I was treated like royalty, tea and biscuits.

Extremely nice staff, coffee good, short wait then into system at each stage met with a smile, put at ease then at last into theatre immediately at ease, operation took 15/20 mins. First class after care second cataract to be done in a few weeks seeing the world through different eyes Thank You Spamedica
