From the moment if my pre-op to through to the day of my operation the care of the staff towards me was excellent. They make you feel welcome and are caring and considerate all the way through. The hospital itself is very clean and looks new. You are not isolated from anyone and we all chatted. There were drinks and biscuits for the patients whilst you waited to be seen. It is a lovely place and I felt really comfortable there.

Pre op appointment was done 08/11/2023 I was offered a hot drink on arrival. All staff were efficient and friendly. All procedures explained in detail. Had surgery 10/11/2023. Again given a drink and everything was explained again. The procedure took about 10-15 minutes.

Cataract surgery. Very efficient, professional and friendly staff. Very pleased with all aspects of the procedure from the assessment, surgery and follow up . Thank you to everyone concerned.

Amazingly quick service. Went fir cataract assessment on 11.10.23 and having been diagnised with cataracts in both eyes had my first cataract removed on 13.10.23. On both visits the staff were attentive and put me at ease with the procedures undertaken. The operation was undertaken quickly with no discomfort. I have no fears in attending fir my second cataract removal after my four week review with my optician. Thanks to everyone involved.

Two different out comesFirst eye surgery great surgeon talked me through every stage eye sight perfect minute I walked out. Second surgery very different at present an only see grey mist Advised to give it 10 days if no better get in touch All staff so kind and welcoming Can’t fault them .justbbit Two different out comes. First went perfect surgeon talked me through every stage of surgery excellent results. 2nd eye two days ago have left e being only able to see grey mist. Called for advice told to give it 10 days if no better get in touch. Very frightening when you live alone. Cannot praise staff enough. Wonderful service so freindy. High praise for lovely lady who greets you at reception

I was welcomed on my arrival and the staff introduced themselves by name and role throughout the process.I was kept reassured and informed about each step of the process.I was made to feel comfortable .It was most important that the procedure was explained to me in the manner that I was able to understand. The outcome was also a very good experience as my vision is much improved.I am due to have an operation on my second eye and the positive experience I had during my first operation has made me feel confident and relaxed about the second operation. The hot drinks and biscuits were welcome I had no issues about the waiting or parking

Faultless experience of 2nd cataract operation. 2 days after no eye irritation at all. Staff are friendly, polite and helpful.

I was not looking forward to having cataract surgery, but it was a far better experience than I imagined it would be. I knew exactly what was happening every step of the way. From the pre-op assesment to the post op assesment everything was explained clearly by the various members of staff. I am very pleased with the great improvement to my eyesight.

I have now had cataracts done in both eyes at spa medica. Amazing service and wonderful staff from the reception team to the clinicians. Thank you for looking after me.
