Just had my second cataract eye operation done both eyes done in a matter of weeks cant fault the service all the staff have been fantastic cannot praise them enough

My cataracts seemed to develop really quickly and were impacting my lob as I struggled to read, and my social life as I couldn't drive at night. My mom had been referred to SpaMedica in 2021 for both eyes and had such a great experience that she recommended I choose them too. My optician referred me at the end of 2022 and I got a call from SpaMedica the same week and booked in for January 2023. I was nervous but the staff were lovely and really put me at ease. My 1st operation was in January 2023 and I was all done and home in less than 2 hours. I was very happy with the care and treatment and amazed that my sight was so good after. I enthusiastically booked in my 2nd surgery in March and received the same high quality service. I feel free again now, My sight is back to how it was 20 years ago. I chose to remain short-sighted as I have used glasses for distance for many years and didnt want to have to use reading glasses. So now I can drive in the dark, read my computer screen and mobile phone, and I can even thread a needle again. I have recommended SpaMedica to everyone who knows anyone with cataracts. On both my visits to the clinic I found the staff most friendly & caring. The treatment was carried out efficiently and has restored my vision remarkably.

I had my first cataract removed today. I was highly impressed with the friendly and very efficient staff both medical and administrative. I felt confident in their hands throughout. Highly recommended.

From when I arrived to have the pre op to having the operation, everyone was friendly, approachable and professional. They supported my needs being elderly and re assured me throughout. I was hesitant at first but I would recommend anyone to go if they need to.

The staff were welcoming. Throughout the process from assessment through to the procedure I felt the staff displayed a professional attitude to their work with good explanations of each step and clear instructions. Thank you SpaMedica Birmingham for my new Hd 4K vision. Great work!

I have had 2 cataracts removed here and everyone was so helpful and friendly both times from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this clinic to anyone else, nothing was too much trouble, even bringing me coffee and biscuits. Thank you for your brilliant service.

From the moment you enter the door the professional attitude of the staff is abundant in everything they do and say you are treated with curtesy and respect , every step of my treatment easy and comfortable I was surprised and pleased with the experience , I wish to thank all the staff at SpaMedica

From beginning to end of process for my cataract op staff were wonderful with advice etc and were pleasant and friendly at all times. Would not be worried at all to use this company again should I need to and would thoroughly recommend
