This is my second visit to Spa Medica Bradford and I have to thank all the staff for their friendly but professional working practices. The reception staff are friendly helpful and welcoming the nursing staff equally so and very supportive and reassuring as are the Theatre Staff. May I also thank both Surgeons who performed the operations one in January and my most recent in March, Thanks to you all. I would be very happy to recommend this medical service to anyone requiring a cataract operation for its cleanliness efficiency and professionalism .

Had a cataract removed. No fuss - the operation took about 15 minutes and was painless. I was in and out in less than a couple of hours and my vision is so much better. The staff were fantastic and put me at ease. Great service.

After a lot of worry and concern about my procedure, I need not have worried. From the initial diagnosis to the actual procedure was so professional and caring. The staff were there to put you at ease and the actual cataract removal was nothing like I imagined and was pain free , apart from a day or two of discomfort after it was a breeze and the after care and support was first class, an institution to be proud of and my heartfelt thanks to all concerned, I feel as though I’ve got a new lease of life, if anyone has any doubt or fear please don’t worry, go for it , you will not regret it, a thouroghly professional team.

Second time of visiting and the service was just as good as the first experience. The staff are all wonderful, from the driver to the surgeon. Professional, friendly and the facility is spotless. Can't fault it

On a quiet day, we ( my elderly mother and I) arrived first so no other patients were here. We were moved to different team members as part of the assessment process, which worked smoothly apart from the wait times of approx half an hour each, before the team member appeared, for each new part of the assessment. No obvious reasons or explanations given for the wait times. For a total consultation time of 1 hour, the process took approx 2.5 hours start to finish, then we couldn't make a follow up appointment as the receptionist (and everyone else!) had disappeared. The service was good, but we can't agree with other comments which call it "streamlined" - and im sorry to report that this was virtually a repeat of our previous experience when being assessed for her other eye, so not really a "one off

When going for my assessment appointment I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who immediately made me feel at ease. Similarly when I attended for the cataract operation I was greeted by another very friendly receptionist. At both the assessment and day of operation I was treated by friendly nurses at each stage of the procedure at was put at ease On the day of the operation I was taken to the theatre to check whether or not I would be able to lay in the correct position on the table as I have a neck problem before proceeding further with pre op preparations This I found very reasuring. The whole of my care was excellent

I couldn’t have had a better experience at SpaMedica Bradford. All the staff were so friendly and gave clear instructions on what was going to happen during my stay. The whole process was so streamlined and in such a relaxed and calm atmosphere.
