I had both eyes treated for cataract surgery about 6 weeks apart. I was very apprehensive about the procedure for the first eye but the staff at SpaMedica Brighton put me at my ease. My follow-up examination confirmed success so I was quite relaxed when I had the second eye done. I look forward to my follow-up examination in due course after which I look forward to normal eyesight once again. Well Done SpaMedica and Thanks

Firstly, for me, the location was easily accessible. I made two visits one for assessment and the second for surgery. For both I found the staff pleasant and helpful to deal with. I thought the process for both was well organised with information provided at each stage if required. It has been two days since my operation and I'm very satisfied with the outcome. The information booklets provided before and after were comprehensive and provided all the information I needed.

The staff are friendly and helpful and made me feel at ease when I went for the initial consultation and then the surgery. I was given an appointment quickly, after my assessment.

This is a very welcoming practice which is run very professionally The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the whole time I was there was comfortable and the surgery was carried out very professionally but in a friendly atmosphere

Welcomed from the beginning, through the whole application of my cataract operation. All elements of the process were professionally applied, giving me both assuredness and confidence of the staffing ability. From start to completion only took 1 ¾ hours with the operation itself only 10 minutes. The release was conducted with thorough knowledge that I would be in safe hands even after I left – so far not necessary.

I would just like to thank all the staff at spa medica Brighton from the lovely cleaning lady ( the place is immaculate ) to the surgeon and nursing staff , who gave me the best positive experience of eye surgery . I was in and out within 2 hours and the surgery itself 9 mins in theatre. no pain at all . Thank you so much , you are all awesome.

I had a very good day on 7th of January 2025, all the people worked at the spamedica were pleasant and helpful, I was well looked after from the minute I walked in till I left. I couldn't be happier, thank you all very much

Had cataracts removed from both eyes. Very impressed with the level of care, service, facilities and the surgeon who took time to talk to me during the procedure. Would recommend.

There were delays in the service before me due to a complex case. Delay should have been communicated much better. The surgeon explained well in pre op and during the cataract operation but once finished he effectively turned his back on you and left it for a nurse to see you out. I wanted to thank him!! They have no WiFi for patients! Considering you are hanging around for a while this is poor especially since they are a private practice going NHS work. The NHS facilities offer WiFi. The good thing was the ability to be seen quickly with effectively no major waiting lists.
