    The team who supported me through all pre op checks for a cataract, were outstanding. Each individual went out of their way to make you feel at ease and informed.

    I was very anxious but from being greeted at the door right the way through to the procedure was beyond amazing I can’t believe the amount of improvement that I have

    Recommended by my optician. I have had many eye pressure tests but never experienced the instrument that was used which touched my eye and made me jump. When I was told the reading was a whopping 42 I said it couldn’t be correct as I’d had pressures taken only a few days ago which was 26. I was told it was correct. Upshot was I was told I couldn’t have cataracts removed as it would be too risky because of the high pressures. I was quite distressed. Went back to see my private eye consultant who found a reading of 22 and was very surprised that I’d had an instrument touching my eye without any anaesthetic. He agreed with me that the reading would be incorrect. He has since removed the cataracts. I wouldn’t recommend SpaMedica because of this. I have been let down so many times by the NHS with my eye issues and only get good and accurate service and treatment by going privately. If left to the NHS I would still have cataracts and deteriorating sight.

    Over the past two months I have received cataract procedure. Every stage of the procedure was carried out in a very caring and efficient way and each and every member of staff I was in contact with were ver polite and attentive. Well done all round.

    This was my follow up from cataract surgery. I had a small problem with an infection but on each of my visits I was seen by several different professionals and was very impressed The staff are polite and professional at all times and I would highly recommend

    From the time I walked through the to end of my treatment every body was so friendly they explained everything. The whole experience was as good as it could possibly be due to the fantastic staff you have there. Thankyou.

    I had surgery on cataracts in both eyes. All the staff from the chap at the door, receptionist, doctors, nurses and ophthalmologists were all very friendly and helpful, they answered all my questions clearly. This made the process of the cataract removal so much better, now knowing what it all entails. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed. What great service SpaMedica, Brighton provide.

    I was met at reception and shown to appointment booking in area where the staff politely took my details and made me feel comfortable. I was taken through all the various modern test rooms and was given an explanation in each area . On completion of my initial. Visit a. Suitable date was arranged for the cataract procedure On my second appointment I received the same welcome and proceeded to the operating theatre via various stages. I was greeted by the Surgeon ant theatre staff who immediately started on my cataract removal. The operation was painless and quickly completed,I was given post operative instructions . I would like others to have a positive experience like me. I could not praise the staff high enough well done.
