My initial appointment was only about 4 weeks after my optician referred me and apart from the distance you may have to travel access is easy with plenty of free parking. From the moment you enter the clean and well maintained premises you will be greeted by a friendly reception team with plenty of free tea, coffee and biscuits on offer. There was limited waiting between various stages and everyone was friendly, warm and professional. Every step was clearly explained. As I left I was given my operation date less than a week later. Operation day was just as pleasant as my first visit and everything went smoothly and pain free. I cannot overstate how good this team is from reception, cleaning staff, nurses, theatre team and discharge nurse. This is how the NHS should be, thank you.

All staff, extremely helpful and surgical experience. Excellent Waiting time on appointments really really quick Second surgical experience was excellent The surgeon put me at rest and answered every question I need to know

Nice and easy place to find good parking available inside staff very friendly if anything gets fed up of being offered coffee and biscuits I went there for a cataract operation and I was there at 9:40 and I left at 12:30. Everything went smoothly and I could not fault them one little bit thank you very much spa Medica.

From the first telephone appointment to attending the hospital for assessment and then again for my surgery, the whole experience was easy. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. There was no waiting around, I was booked in and quickly called for my consultation. Everything was professional but I was put at ease. Everything was explained clearly. The day of my operation was the same. The surgeon was helpful, efficient and reassuring as were the nurses at my recovery. I was ready to go home after two hours. The clinic was very clean, well appointed. There was adequate free parking and the waiting room for my wife and daughter was comfortable. Free tea, coffee, water, and biscuits were readily available. The seating was comfortable with plenty of room. The whole experience was excellent.

My appointment was at 9.20am and the op was done by 11.40am. There’s a bit of a wait going from the first part of the procedure to having the op (this is so the pellet has time to work in the eye). (This is just a comment to advise anyone who is thinking of coming here so they can bring a book etc to keep their mind off the op). There are refreshments whilst you wait. The procedure doesn’t hurt but I would definitely accept the nurse holding your hand whilst the procedure is being done! Aftercare is explained really well. Lovely, friendly staff and would recommend coming here. Thank you

Pleasant and efficient staff. Clean and modern clinic with easy parking. I am extremely pleased with the results and the advice given for after care. All in all very professional.

It was a superb service from start to finish, from booking in to release it was outstanding. The operation was successful and everything was made so simple each stage of the process was seamless with everyone so professional and with your needs put first and foremost. It has been a joy to see such professionalism .

I recently had cataract surgery at SpaMedica Bristol, from the very first consultation appointment, I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the front desk staff who made the check in process so quick and easy. The whole medical team from front desk staff to surgeon and after care nurse were amazingly kind and made me feel so at ease. They really couldn’t do enough for me, making sure I always had a full cup of coffee and settled my nerves. Thank you to a brilliant team and hospital.
